A little bit about us...
Running ( if we may say the highly enjoyable and successful ) Marco's Bistro Bar in
neighbouring Alvor for the last 10 years has taught us a lot.
Now we have decided its time to expand and bring our 'style' to Portimao as well as Alvor.
The Wine Bar has over the years established itself as a popular and convenient 'watering hole' in the middle of Portimao for both visitors and ex-pats alike.
In August 2010 we took over ownership of the bar as the previous owners decided it was time to return to England.
The bar has since been extensively refurbished, with an added touch of "Marco's magic" of course, to create a cosy and friendly atmosphere ( we hope you will agree! ).
The Bistro Bar, now in its second year, continues in its aims to deliver a warm friendly welcome in our cosy bar.
A source of quality Portuguese wines and good food to round off what we hope will be a memorable experience ( for all the right reasons of course ).

Pam and occasionally Andrea or Jimmy D.
